Dr. Vijay Narendran
Dr. Vijay Narendran is board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Born and raised in Texas, he pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago studying Mathematics and Economics before attending the School of Medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX. He underwent Internal Medicine training in Cleveland, OH at University Hospitals Case Western Reserve University, and the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. He then continued his graduate medical education at the New York University school of medicine by pursuing a Clinical Fellowship in Hematology and Medical oncology.
During Fellowship he did research in Hematologic Malignancies and later went on to become an Assistant Professor at the Hofstra University School of Medicine and worked at the Monter Cancer Center on Long Island, NY. There he worked as a Hematologist focusing on hematologic malignancies such as leukemia and lymphoma and a variety of benign blood disorders. He then spent some time in the Pacific Northwest working primarily in Cancers of the Lung and the Head and neck.
Dr. Narendran treats a variety of Cancers and has a special interest in blood disorders.
Dr. Narendran has staff privileges at JFK Hospital, Jupiter Medical Center and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.
